A balm for first-degree burns and the removal of scars and keloids

Melop E should be used according to the instructions for use. It is suitable for all ages, including children.
Application for burns
The natural balm Melop E is used for new burns, where the skin at the burned place has remained uninjured and affected only by more severe erythema (redness). The response speed is very important in case of burns.
The person providing assistance must first disinfect their hands – this can be done by washing thoroughly in warm water, with soap and using a brush. After washing, the hands need to be dried with sterile gauze and then also disinfected using diluted alcohol (70% ethanol). The burned area should be soaked with the balm using a gauze or cotton pad.
The burn should be constantly covered by the balm, until the redness disappears.
The pain disappears immediately after applying the balm to the burn, and subsides completely when the redness disappears, which can last from two to four hours from the moment the balm starts working.
Applicationfor scars and keloids

In both cases, in the evening, before going to bed, put a four-layer gauze soaked with the balm on the scars and keloids, secure it with a bandage or adhesive strip, and leave it on overnight.
The treatment duration depends on the age and size of the scars or keloids.
Natural balm Melop E helps in the treatment of postoperative scars, spots(scars) after the treatment of acne, pimples and marks left after chickenpox, as well as all types of superficial skin damage.

It can be used by people of all ages, including babies from an early stage of life. Due to its therapeutic effect, it has a very wide application.
Burns with redness and preserved skin surface: wash your hands well and disinfect them with alcohol (70% ethanol). Soak the burn with the balm using a cotton pad. Repeat the application – the burned area should be constantly covered by the balm, until the redness disappears.
Scars: wash the scarred skin with soap and dry it. Apply the balm and massage for 5–10 minutes (fresh scars) or 20–30minutes (old scars and keloids). In the evening, put a four-layer gauze soaked with the balm onto scars and keloids, secure it with a bandage or adhesive strip, and leave it on overnight.
The treatment should last until optimal results are achieved.
Unrefined olive oil (Olea europaea fruit oil) is the base of all Šaljić balms, as one of ideal base oils for dissolving other herbal ingredients. Olive oil provides unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins. It is excellent for massage and ensures easy and even product application onto the skin. Olive oil is an excellent choice for dry skin care.
Olive oil is present in all Šaljić balms.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has a strong soothing and healing effect on the skin, while also being relaxing for the mind. Lavender has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, relieves pain and acts as an antibacterial and antiseptic.

St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) is traditionally known fori ts anti-inflammatory properties, especially in relieving burns. St. John's wort oil (an oil extract from the flower) is often made at home in our region, as a natural remedy for burns and sunburn redness. St. John's wort has a soothing, healing effect, and strengthens the skin's natural defense mechanisms. Science has shown that St. John's wort contains tannins, resins, proteins, amino acids and other ingredients that have antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and astringent effects.
